Got dcd from a game, now i cant sign into steam

So I was playing M&B Warband a few hours ago, I get dc'd from a game, dcd from chat, and im like, oh. Thats weird.

So I load up mount and blade again, cant find any servers, still no steam chat either

Try rebooting steam, and it ays steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers. So I tried EVERY single trouble shooting option they have on that page. From re allowing through the firewall, to the -tcp boot option, and absolutely nothing is working. I havent tried reinstalling because Id be downloading about 100 gig of games all over again. Anyone else experience this before? Whatd you do?

I was having the same problem, and for me it was the firewall, despite it already having steam added as an allowed program and working fine for years. Try completely turning off the firewall to see if that works.

uninstalling removes your games reinatalling does not.
but I doubt it is needed.

remove everything steam from your firewall permissions and let it relearn steam.
this is always the same after steam updates and peoples firewall.

if you have your cd key for warband you can get the demo and register it outside steam.
