trade ban
i currently have a trade ban, i have never scammed anyone, i think i got banned by trading with a scammer. Any info on how to fix my situation?, i am the only owner of the account, i have it for 7 years, all my market purchases were legal from my own credit card.

if you traded within the steam system you do not get trade banned for trading with a scammer.

yes, my trade was legit, approved by email. It is shocking to me how this could happen.
I have conversations on facebook which i can translate for steam support.

Has anyone faced this problem before? Is there any chance i will be able to get the trade ban removed?

you do not know what triggered your trade ban at all.

if I was to make a guess you traded outside the trade system and bought items for real money from someone.
how did you make sure they were not stolen items if you did that?

the guy that traded me, said he won a huge pot on a jackpot site, he had an inventory worth of 2500 euros, said he wanted to upgrade his pc.

To see if he could trade he first offered me a low cost skin worth of .20c.
After we meet and i gave him around 200e for a knife. In steam we traded his knife for a case with email confirmation. I'm pretty sure he got reported for that trade and got me banned as well.

You are not supposed to trade for money, outside selling on the Steam market. Ban well deserved.

but it is still removable right? i have proof of conversation with him, even with the money that i cashed out from my account in the day of the trade (10-15min before the trade)

no it is not removable.

your conversation is hear say it does not count.
only the trade history counts.

you made a real world trade that is not trading inside the system.
that is trading outside the system , there is no support for you.

it is not supported to trade outside the system that does not mean you can't

Just cause they exist it doesn't means they are legit. It's obviously money in the business so those sites are growing out like mushrooms after the rain, cs go casino, cs go lottery, cs go raffle, something - skins ..... I could go on with this to fill a A4 sheet.
The proof for a profitable business is exactly you, cause if someone with mere 6 games on his account has 200€ for a knife, then this whole thing is obviously out of hand.

After seing your groups you are in tradding and betting sites,if you receive a lot of items from that sites maybe some of thems are stolen or scamed from someone,and your recent history make it worse,at steam eyes you are laundering items,in your message about the ban support indicate the lengh of the same,if say permanent,then guess what?...

i am not here to argue with any of you, but it is not stated that outside trades are illegal. They just recommend that they are done inside steam. And to be honest i don't even know how anyone can trade outside of steam.

you are not banned for trading outside the system you are banned for fencing stolen goods.

maybe in your country that is not a crime and this is why you do not understand.
I do not know any country from the top of my head tho.

you trade outside of steam thats how.
you received a gift it was not a trade.

and why are you ignoring " an at-your-own-risk choice."
