An unexpected error has occurred
So I am sure alot of you have this error. Anytime I try to add money in my Steam account (either in the Steam Client or Any Internet browser) I always get an error message saying, "An unexpected error has occured. Your purchase has not been completed. Please contact Steam Support." So I did. They first told me to see if I was running any anonymous proxies. I checked, and none were running. I then did what they told me next, which was to restart the computer. I then went back to the Steam Client, tried it again. And still no error. So I replied to Steam Support with this message

"Hello,
I ran tests to see if I was running any anonymous proxies, and the results showed none were running. I then restarted my computer. I went back to add $25 in the Steam Client, it came up with the "unexpected error" message, I also tried to add $25 in Google Chrome, it came up with the same "unexpected error" message. Is my account flagged where I cant buy anything? What is the problem?"

Steam Support then responsed with this automated message

This kind of irritates me because Steam is being kind of lazy for responding with an automated message. I know Steam has millions of people sending them alot of emails and questions, but Valve has the potential to upgrade Steam Support's service. I hope they will actually respond, but in the meantime, have any of you had this problem and fixed? Do you know someone who had this problem but got it fixed? Thanks for the help!

steam support blows ass. I have the same problem and I'm pretty sure it just goes away with time. I sent in a ticket too, if I get a response (within this year) I'll tell you what they told me. GL
