what you mean hide it? if you rightclick in your library and hide it its just hidden in your library but its public if your account is public AFAIK

Hiding a game hides it from the library, nothing else. There's no way to hide a single game from others.

If you don't want people to see that you have certain games, you need to private your gamelist.

This category includes the list of all games on your Steam account, games you’ve wishlisted, your achievements and your playtime. This setting also controls whether you’re seen as "in-game" and the title of the game you are playing.

Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details.
