How to Remove/Disabvle StemVR Home
Hello, I would like to deactivate STEAM VR Home, but I can't find the corresponding switch.
I have already googled around, but neither (in the STEAMVR) gear icon, startup environment nor in the development staff can I find this setting to deactivate it.
So how can I deactivate this STEAMHome?
In the WWW is also the speech of ... delete an exe, but unfortunately no name.
But it would be more elegant to find this f****ing switch.... but I just can't find it, or I'm too stupid for it.
Please give precise instructions on how I can achieve this.
Thanks & regards,
David

This is what I asked the official Steam Support.
They wrote me following:

Thank you for following up with us.

I'm sorry but it may not be possible to disable SteamVR home. We recommend reaching out to the SteamVR community for information and to see if it is possible to disable SteamVR Home.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Been awhile last use vr, run steamvr home open settings go into advanced mode option and then you’ll see a button to turn it off.

Steam Support deal with accounts and billing therefore they cannot always answer unrelated questions and why they will redirect you.

After months of trying I found it!! This worked for me at least:

(1) Exit SteamVR home - but still be in SteamVR, i recall its in one of those (poorly designed) side tabs. I'm pretty sure this is the main hurdle, having SteamVR Home open seems to hide options relating to it (WTF?!?!?!).

(2) Now with the side tabs go into 'VR Settings'.
At the bottom of the tab is an option for 'advanced settings' which must be 'show'

(3) Within 'VR Settings', a toggle for SteamVR Home now appears at the bottom of the "General" subtab.

I hope this works for other people, I am baffled by the design of this application.

You are correct, this is where I found it yesterday as well.
Now I hope I can make it work that every time I boot VR it stays ON instead of me having to go back to that setting to turn it off and on again to make it load properly.
