I got invited to deadlock but I canot join the game

Hello guys, a friend of mine invited me to deadlock i receive his chat message, your friend invited you to play deadlock but when I click and go the steam page of deadlock i cannot play it. It has been 3 days so I wonder if I have to do something in order to be able to play please ?

The invitation notification is not a normal chat message. And it doesn't tell you it is from a friend.

You probably fell for a phishing link.

It says your friend invited you to play Deadlock(with a link to the steam page of the game) its a link directly to the steam page its not a phishing link, can you please explain me how the notification is supposed to be in order to help me please

Deadlock closed beta invites don't appear in chat as a message in italics...

You'll get the invite notification to your Email address or as a notification in Steam itself.

There are no messages in chat when a deadlock invite is sent.
(I know this because I sent an invite to a friend very recently.)

It sounds like you're not being sent a legitimate invite. Be cautious about any URLs in chat.

Yeah that's not an invitation to join the closed beta, it's an invite to join his ingame lobby.
The redirect to the store page is Steam telling you: "get the game first, lmao".
