Can't Connect to Multiplayer Games

I'm genuinely losing my mind and don't know what to do. A few days ago, if not a week ago from now, I was playing VRChat with some friends. We were on the game for two solid hours just messing around. Then suddenly, as I was going to enter a new world with them, the game completely broke in the sense that it wouldn't connect. I closed the game and reopened it, but it wouldn't even connect to my home world. Kept saying there was some sort of internet connection problem, even though the internet was working completely fine and I had played this game on the current internet I'm on with no issues.

Then later I realized it wasn't just a VRChat issue. I tried running Lethal Company and Phasmaphobia, and both games wouldn't allow me to connect to the online servers. Yet I can run single-player games completely fine, and I can run other multiplayer games such as Roblox completely fine. It's specifically games through Steam that seem to bug out and not work. I had discovered with the help of one of my homies that I had to change the steam networking setting in steam settings from default to always, to allow faster connections, and that seemed to fix it....but just yesterday and today I tried the game, and it didn't allow me to connect again.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the game files, uninstalling and reinstalling steam, flushing my DNS to clear up the cache, restarting my laptop multiple times, and more to no avail. I've contacted steam support and they seem convinced that it's merely a problem with VRChat itself when it seems to be a bigger issue with steam itself for me. Please, does Anyone know what the problem could potentially be or know what to do???
