I contacted my bank. There wasn't much he could tell me. They helped you by saying that you have shopped here before and if you want, you can file a complaint. What I want to tell you is that Steam deducted money from my account twice, 3 days apart. And they're not doing anything to help in any way about it. They ignore it. What I understand is that Steam can withdraw money from registered cards as it wishes. As I said, 70 dollars is not a big deal, but there are a lot of examples of this on the internet and I just wanted people to be careful, that's all.
As I said, my last purchase was on September 16, call of duty black ops 6. Even though I did not make any purchases on September 19, 69.99 USD was withdrawn from my account. It doesn't show up in my Steam purchase history. And Steam tells me that you did not make such a purchase. Yes, I know this too, and the answer I'm looking for is why did you withdraw this money from my account? I would like to remind you that on September 16, 69.99 USD had already been debited from my account.
Have your bank investgate the 2nd $69.99 purchase ... Confirm the money was removed and to whom. You can dispute this 2nd transaction.
Have you considered someone may have access to your card and *they* bought something for another account?
The 16th was a hold on the funds by your bank to be sent to Steam. This is to stop you spending that money again.
The 19th was when your bank transferred the money and Steam received it.
This is why you see two transactions. The hold will be removed leaving a single transaction.
NOTE: If you do a chargeback (complaint, dispute) Valve will lock your account and block your payment. To unlock both you will have to pay the money back.
After you said these, I looked at another game I bought before. My account was debited twice for that game. No money was refunded. I contacted my bank again and they said that no money was blocked and that I should contact Steam. What you said makes sense, but when money was debited twice in 3 days, my account balance went into negative balance twice. And there was no blockage. There was no refund either, both purchases were made in September.
