Account was hacked. I beg support or an admin to help.
My steam account was just hacked and the support tabs are no help. The hacker changed my email and my phone number on my account. I can provide credit cards I last used for the account or anything needed.

No one hacked into your account, it was you who gave all your data to the scammer. Willingly.

You need to be logged out of all accounts to start recovery process.

You really think people are going to want to help if you go around accusing them of being a scammer?

The only thing that will get you is reported.

My apologies. Put yourself in my shoes. I got hacked from clicking a link, this person comes on, and sends another link saying I didn't get hacked. It seemed fishy to me. Plus I wasn't sure how they even knew what I did??
I was wrong after I risked it and clicked the link and seen it was safe.

I mean no harm. It was just sketchy to me at first to click another link. Unfortunately the link didn't help as I had to make this account to create a discussion. The account recovery it's giving me is for this account, even after logging out of my account.

From your perspective it must seem like you were hacked. Technically you were phished, which for some is a kind of hacking. It's just a correction to the nomenclature. Being hacked presumes your account was targeted and entry was by brute force. Someone tricked you with a link and phished your login details.

With that being said, the process is the same. Follow the guide that was posted above. Make sure not to be logged into an account when you begin the recovery process. You'll reach a point to submit a ticket then just need to wait for Support to respond to you.

you are supposed to contact steam support, they don't read the forums
