1. Update your graphic drivers. If they aren't up to date, they can cause graphic bugs or system/game crashes.
2. Verify your game files. Right-click on the game, select properties, go to local files and click on 'Verify integrity of game files'. Steam will know check if your game is broken and it will try to fix it.
3. Try to force the game to use DX12 instead of DX11. Or force the game to use DX11. Depends on what you have activated right now.
4. Check for Antivirus Interference: Ensure your antivirus software isn’t interfering with the game. You might need to add the game to the antivirus exclusion list.
5. Disable Overlays. Some Overlays can cause problems. The Discord overlay once caused problems for me, so consider turning it off.
Also, if you have overclocked some parts of your PC that can cause crashes or errors too.
Hope these steps can help you fix your problem.
I was playing mortal sin and the error code was 2021.3.36.f1_7a0645017be0
I think it's a unity thing rather then anything you mentioned.
I've tried varifying everything
idk what to do at this point
Yeah, it really sounds like a unity problem then. Have you tried reporting the problem to the unity support? If not, this would be my last advice.
Sorry I couldn't help you
