It's only for a handful of games, not all of them. Sometimes just retrying the DL many times will get it to work, but most of the time it won't. Like I just cannot play GRIS at all and haven't been able to for weeks. Yay digital future!
Changing DL region didn't work, clearing DL cache didn't work, rebooting system or modem doesn't work.
but Main pc , with something we dont know.
and it require a steam user with skill in safe boot mode and other things like that and have time for what cause this.
Dont forget we are ateam users here, this is not support.
This is why we ask, then other steam user , got hes old laptopto work and reset own windows on Main pc and get it to work again, this mean interference issue, but same time there is always a steam user here with other network issue.
and as i said in other post we need a windows user that has time and experience to deal with it.

Make sure its not own Anti virus app that need stema.exe on exceptions rules.
security app is not a steam issue or game devs, you could have install own thirdpart app security or worst case a company pc , that dont have rights to alot of this, most gamers do not do this and only have window own default Antivirus app and firewall
and we can only ask here. we know nothing on what you are here and what app you haver installed that could cause this if this is a interference issue.
and sense you have 2 pc then you need to check, same OS same security and build, also mean sme mistake in apps maybe, alos why i meantion inother post have friends laptop you do nmot made same mistake in apps and security, this goes both ways
same as if my laptop is there and it work , well then you can see its good we dont did same mistake, also why comapny sometiems send a third guy out and recheck everything, there is a reason they do this. to recheck everything.

do not have VPN or wifi or not nearest stam DL zone, ( you try reduce network latency or many jumps as we call it in the old days across all them router jumps, then we try reach a server.
diffrence is steam see "no connection" that mean keep alive packet into steam dont get though,
so steam network ports to isp change is or own router replacement, to isp upgrade network , as you see so many things can have change this, most of the time its not that,
do reboot own router and pc then wan line is up again. ( this is not a joke )
this mean something has been change and you did not know network topoogy has change nut your router need a reboot.

You can try make steam ticket, but if this is not the problem, then you are here again.
dont forget i see it from network point of view, "no internet connection" steam is not going to fix your local issue or ISP issue into steam , they are a server datacenter, and sense all other steam user work, including me thast millions of steam users, this is the problem.
and you dont need steam users comment , work for me. here. trust me on this, if all steam user had this, then you will see many angry post.
and why "no internet connection" is first priority in my book.
Do you have a laptop, visit a friend network or other hotspot to test own laptop, another way to make sure its not my laptop, ( i see things in other ways or should i said double check in many ways. ) hope you understand why i do such. )

Do note i stillsee it as own security is doing it, how can some work in DL and not others,
this mean you or steam in other end has a issue.

I just update the game directly from the library page, and do not deviate from that page. Sometimes the download stops and I have to restart it, but eventually, it downloads.
Hmmm this mean you router into steam is congested or youtr ISP is throttle the network,
try see this explanation as will you have a slow DL user at your connection thenother has normal speed, whatsever cause this i dont know other then maybe to many user at a line among your ISP and there partners partner, to proof it is hard, try change steam DL zone to see if you get a better path into steam, and keep it for yourself, you dont want other steam user that read it here what server you take. ( this is not a joke this is know as get 1 million steam user to flip flop there conecctions, we have just never seen steam moderator pointit out but i bet you can see the consequence of it then many go to same server.

( and you are also in 3:27 at midnight and who know if your own ISP is not have a network upgrade or update, most ISP do have this from 0:00 to 0:600 again we dont know here, but ppl go to bed , so bandwid into steam might get fewer ppl online atm.
Still not a steam issue if line into steam get better atm.

or your ISP has fixed a local fiber issue in the region you are in.
this has got to be a Steam issue of some kind, given that there are several threads with the same problem posted in the last hour
edit: changed download server, restarted Steam, seems to work ok now. if you're on UK-Manchester maybe try a different one
i and others only try to help, and as you see route now into steam work, again for you
also set the point to where is the error then this is thursday, most steam issue connection after patch day is up way faster then this.
And thats why it look like own ISP region issue into steam.
as steam usre here its odd that its so spread out on the globe , and look llike a steam issue, but other steam user could get spare pc to work, this is not so simple if multi issue cause same issue with the "no internet connection"
but gz anyway, even if you did nothing to fix it. just point aa own ISP region local issue then.
