How does the new steam family work as far as private games and how do the libraries look on the outside?
Just wondering a couple things. So I have heard that it acts as just a huge game pool rather then sharing specific games. How does this appear on the account to everyone else? Does it show that you own all of the games in the pool pretty much? Looking to do a family set up with someone but they have some games that I would rather not display on my account. All though I could private them, this person has over 400 games and I would rather not go through and private them all and maybe with this I can't even private games if they aren't from my account.

My next question is about how it appears in my account. Again with this big pool is it just all these games in ny library or is there some sort of separation between the games I initially own or purchase and the other games?

Finally for games that I have privated will they show up in the other persons library too? Its not about hiding games from the person I am sharing the games with but more about how my friends list views things. I don't want to make my games list private but some games I don't want to show or be bothered while playing.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to private specifically the shared games?
