Permanently banned for no reason

Hey guys!

I have seen many threads about people getting banned and thought the majority were lying that they did not cheat. But I got a reality check today.
I have been out of the country on holiday since the middle of june and came back in the end of august. Under this time I have not even been able to start my PC. When I came back in august I started in college and have been studying and working all the time. Yesterday I got some free time and decided to play SnD HC with my cousin, we played it all the time before I went on holiday as we both only worked and had alot of free time.

We started a search for a game but the ping went up to 200ms, really weird and we directly thought my cousin might be shadowbanned as he's really good (playing tournaments that check for cheats) but when we solo qued I still got the high ping. So I went in to Ban Appeal and it said "Limited Matchmaking". I immiedatly sent in an email and a ticket asking how I am limited as I have not been playing the game since june. To my surprise I started my computer now and it came up on steam that I am permanently banned from CoD, I did not even play it on Steam, I had the game on Battle.net. I tried logging in to Activision to see why Im permabanned but only an error comes up.

I have been playing CoD since I was a kid and have bought most of them, and fallen into the trap of micro-transactions. But this is ridiculous, banned for no reason but also got the ban on steam and can't play any other multiplayer games. Never cheated in any game and have never gotten a ban, and have been playing games since 2014 and have LOADS of games on Steam.

The most irritating thing is that Activsion does not even have a Support for this. Does anyone know what I can do? Appreciate any kind of help I can get

Just use any other support category to make a ticket with Activision.

I have emailed all their support mails and feedback mails... Might never get unbanned for spamming now haha

You have 1, singular, 0-day-old game ban on Steam. Not a Vac ban. Even if I believed you (I don't), this doesn't affect any other multiplayer games other than the one you got yourself banned from. You don't get banned for having Australian ping, so your explanation, such as it is, isn't exactly credible.

You can get a game ban for any reason under the sun. People have gotten game bans for giving bad reviews to games, or, in the case of Lost Ark, quitting the game after playing. This is because Steam allows any charlatan, like Amazon Games for example, to be developer class and scarlet letter accounts for any reason they see fit (or unfit, in the case of most "developers" nowadays).

I later realized it was not a VAC ban and that it did not affect my other multiplayer games. If I DID cheat I would not take my time posting here and just bought a new account, less hassle free than this. Now that I realized that it does not affect my other mp games I dont really care, got more time to do things i actually need to do.

And Im not in need for validation if you think Im cheating or not, Im not even going to try to persuade you haha and don't really know what you meant with "Australian ping". Now I just want to inform how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ their support is. GLHF

Yeah saw that... Won't be buying any CoD title in the near future, soon finishing my studies and have to work up in the company so the ban was probably for the better....

UPDATE: Got unbanned now, I have not contacted them or anything it just popped up now. It said I got "Wrongfully banned".

Cinemax, I really feel sorry for you having the mindset that all people lie. Take care x

Yeah people found a way to get the anticheat in that game to ban other people in the lobby and they had to go through and unban everyone affected

YouTube has people showing how it worked if you want to see for yourself

Can't really blame them when the majority of ppl who came here asking to be unbanned are account buyers with the usual "my brother cheated using my account", lol
