Is steam idlemaster extended safe to use?

I remember using Idlemaster a few years back, but it broke and never worked again for me. Now I found 'Idle master extended' but I can't really find people talking about its authenticity online and I want to know if anyone here has any experience of using it.

I haven't had any problems. But since you don't know me I could tell you lies. Thing is, either use it or don't. On the internet you never know someone else's true intentions.

Yeah, that's the problem with "the internet".

I've never used Idlemaster myself, since it messes with the Steam client (or used to; I didn't follow developments). Instead, I used Archi's Steam Farm for many years, until I switched over to my own codebase.

But then again, ASF could just be evil and I could be a dog. On the internet, you never know who you're talking to.
