Cluedo/Clue Broken

I' was playing fine until yesterday when I left a game. When I returned to play, the game shows running but never displays the splash screen. it just hangs. When I quit the game it shows "all unsaved data will be lost. "The 2016 version runs fine but the 2023 version which includes Black Adder, Whispering Pines, and Halloween DLC does not. I have uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail. Please advise on best course of action to fix this problem. Thanks
