Easy Anti Cheat crashing my PC.

So.. this has been going on for quite some time, with all kind of games ( With easy anti cheat. )

When I was playing the game, The Finals, when it came out. SOMETIMES i'd get a crash report from easy anti cheat, saying that it crashed. As SOON as I hit exit, on that crash window, it would crash my pc, making me restart.

Then I would restart my PC, try again, and it would work fine..
Next day, I try again to open the game, it could either run fine, or crash again, then crash my pc.
Sometimes, I could play 4-5 times in a row ( Closing and opening the game. )

Sometimes, I would open the game, crash, restart.
Open the game, crash, restart
Open the game, crash, restart.. 3-4 times in a row, until it worked.

While all of this is happening, I was playing other games ( Without easy anti cheat ) and wouldn't have ANY issues.



I recently started to play New World again. Exact same issue.. Sometimes I can play the game days at a time, without crashing.

And sometimes I crash, restart, crash, restart.




Anyway.. I tried a few things, re-installing everything, even reformatted my PC a few times.

Does anyone else run into this issue? And if so, what did you do to resolve ?

EAC crashing and your PC crashing are related, albeit separate topics.

EAC crashing is a topic for their support or some game forum. Your PC crashing is a topic for here. Which one do you want to tackle (first)?

But.. my pc crashes ONLY when that EAC error pops up.. is what confuses me.

Yeah, you said that already. How does it crash?

No, you haven't. You said your PC crashes, not how it crashes.

That said, feel free to take this matter to the EAC forum/support or the forum of an affected game.
