Steam Recorder Quick Question

Steam Recorder only records steam games right? The reason I ask is say I have games outside of Steam that don't require Steam to play, I load up that particular non steam game, Steam Recorder isn't going to recognise it is it so therefore it won't record?

I think I will have to use my normal game recorder for non steam games

If the game supports Steam overlay you can still record games outside of steam.

it would be an outside steam game that probably doesnt support steam.
I was wondering if steam recorded would record them.

Probably not. I wonder if i imported non steam game into steam then if steam recorder would work?
