Game trailers no longer visible or interractible.

For the last few weeks, when I open a game page on the Steam Store, the video trailers appear as a black window. The normal control buttons (play, pause, volume, expand) down the bottom no longer appear. Restarting and reinstalling Steam have had no effect. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix?

had the same problem. what helped me was clicking (steam - settings - interface) at "client beta participation" switch it to "steam beta update", that fixed it for me hoped it helped.

This is only a temporary fix. For others it does not work at all. Please check the other large thread on this forum.

People shouldn't use the beta unless they want to report beta bugs and deal with many more updates that may break stuff.

I'm not going to hold my breath, but I had a WinAppRuntime.Singlet update on the windows store this morning..2/10/24 and everything seems to be working again.

Might be worth a try for others.

Issue is present on the android app as well
