Fatal Error: Steam must be online to update

I have tried everything. Uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting router, repairing files, changing DNS settings. Noting is working. I am at my wits end. Please help.

if WIFI try cable
if VPN turn it off
Have a win10/11 support OS
reinstall steam over current and hope it can fix it.

and we assume its "No internet connection" in bottom of steam client.
and you are online in windows internet connection ( globe is there then you are not )
try steam beta client or flip back then it dont help.

run steam.exe 1 time with administrator rights, to test if this can fix update issue.

use steam flush cmd ( google it )


Desktop pc own forget you can repair network connection, laptop user know this then hotspots can fail sometimes.
