Just logged in and my friends list is gone?

1. I have steam guard.
2. I don't have an API key.
3. There was no suspicious activity in recent login and third party site activity.
I have nothing worth stealing on the account... Honestly i could just add everyone back but what pisses me off that a good friend of mine who happens to be dead also got removed, Has anyone else experienced something like this and has steam restored these issues before?

The first thing i did was check on my other accounts and they are fine.
The steam.co.uk thing also says i have no friends, found the config file with all my old friends names but the major problem is i really am sad that my dead friends profile isn't there anymore even as a memory.
