Kinguin - That's how things go...
Kinguin withheld my money in the balance, when they could not send me the purchased game - Starfield. Then a trickster used this balance and bought a game with a new Steam account. When I told them it was a fraud, they told me to unlink the Steam account from the EAGame account (where the game was purchased). I told them I can't do that because I didn't activate the game. They told me that there is nothing they can do because the game is activated normally. So I have a game in my Kinguin account bought from the money retained by Kinguin in the balance (as if after they didn't give me the game I wanted for various reasons, they kept my money in their balance) which I don't I can play it because Kinguin gave this money to the first trickster who turned out to be right, as if it was me.So I bought about 50 games from them and had no problems. But when they withheld my money against my will, a trickster hacked the Kinguin account and of course they are not to blame. After all, it's not worth getting into trouble with such people. That's how things go...

That's what you get for dealing with unauthorized product activation key stores.

Next time, check isthereanydeal. They only list legitimate authorized stores.

My mistake was to let them keep the money in the balance. There's the bug.

If you keep dealing with them, don't come here to complain next time. "Fool me twice..." and all that.

It's the first time, that's why I'm telling you. You realize that I don't have the courage to buy from them anymore.

No, your mistake was that you either gave our your login info or downloaded malware to your PC.
Kinguin didn't steal your funds, as you've admitted yourself, and it's not a "bug" either. Someone logged into your account and drained your balance, that's on you.
This same thing can happen on Steam too and I urge you to download Malwarebytes right now and scan your system for malware. Even if it doesn't find anything I'd suggest you back up your important files and then either reset Windows or outright reinstall everything, and to be more careful with downloading files from the internet. Same goes for links and logging into websites. Be sure you're on the right website and not a fake phishing website.

Kinguin and Co are safe websites. But leave it to the people here to bash them and ignore the real issue at hand. The real issue is that OP got phished for his info, or more likely, downloaded malware which stole all of his login credentials, as I doubt that there's phishing attempts for something as niche as Kinguin. Like what kind of scammer would waste time to try to get people's Kinguin login details??? Who even keeps balance on these sorts of websites? I've had a website balance once or twice after refunding a pre-order, and I've spent it on something else within the same week. And the only reason it was even refunded into my wallet was because my payment method wasn't a CC/DB, so it couldn't be refunded back there.

OP likely has malware on his PC and needs to double and triple-check his stuff and should probably change his passwords too.

It is insane to what lengths people go to to badmouth these reseller sites. As annoying some of these sites can be, with their upsells and stuff, they're not dangerous websites nor are they fraudulent, no more so than eBay or Craigslist. You're dealing with third parties on most of those websites, with the rare exception, so yes, you can potentially get scammed. If that happens, contact support and let them sort it out. But what happened here wasn't a seller scamming OP or the website being the scammer, OP got his account compromised. Again, same thing can happen on Steam via phishing and malware.

I don't know much about these things, but the following fact seems strange to me. The name of the Steam account created for this game is the same as the name of the person who said they cannot be held responsible for this. The name is "Meng En Shang Cheng". So whoever sold the game created an account with the name of the person they bought it from?

It's likely a "throwaway" account with the sole purpose of renting out to people, for access to the game. Report the Steam account for potential illegal activities and let support sort it out.
Don't keep excessive wallet balance in any of your accounts, this goes for Steam too, and scan your system with Malwarebytes. Also reset your passwords for all your accounts.
Also report the seller on Kinguin. The seller, I'm guessing has next to no sales either, probably in the low hundreds or thousands at most. Report their account and also link the Steam account in the ticket.

I don't know where you read when you say that Kinguin didn't steal my money. That's exactly what they did. They stole my money from my Kinguin account, money withheld as they wanted. So maybe I don't understand what you're saying, or vice versa, what I'm saying is that I'm convinced that if I didn't have money withheld by Kinguin, he couldn't steal from me. They didn't steal from my personal account. They stole the money given to Kinguin for another game, which they didn't give me, but kept the money. Do I make myself understood to you?

That's good to know.

Steam report how
Kinguin is a marketplace and not recommended same with G2 - any marketplace is where normal people (and thieves) go to sell games, there are a few of them while there are more trustworthy stores that have been around for one decade and one for 22 years (this latter one people still call a scam yet they pay their taxes).

Why use a marketplace to buy games when you could use safe and secure retailers listed here https://isthereanydeal.com/ ?

believe me or not kinguin appeared on this site, that's why I bought it.. don't throw stones at me :)
That site has never appeared on there - it's actually blacklisted by them and always has been.
