Next time, check isthereanydeal. They only list legitimate authorized stores.
Kinguin didn't steal your funds, as you've admitted yourself, and it's not a "bug" either. Someone logged into your account and drained your balance, that's on you.
This same thing can happen on Steam too and I urge you to download Malwarebytes right now and scan your system for malware. Even if it doesn't find anything I'd suggest you back up your important files and then either reset Windows or outright reinstall everything, and to be more careful with downloading files from the internet. Same goes for links and logging into websites. Be sure you're on the right website and not a fake phishing website.
Kinguin and Co are safe websites. But leave it to the people here to bash them and ignore the real issue at hand. The real issue is that OP got phished for his info, or more likely, downloaded malware which stole all of his login credentials, as I doubt that there's phishing attempts for something as niche as Kinguin. Like what kind of scammer would waste time to try to get people's Kinguin login details??? Who even keeps balance on these sorts of websites? I've had a website balance once or twice after refunding a pre-order, and I've spent it on something else within the same week. And the only reason it was even refunded into my wallet was because my payment method wasn't a CC/DB, so it couldn't be refunded back there.
OP likely has malware on his PC and needs to double and triple-check his stuff and should probably change his passwords too.
It is insane to what lengths people go to to badmouth these reseller sites. As annoying some of these sites can be, with their upsells and stuff, they're not dangerous websites nor are they fraudulent, no more so than eBay or Craigslist. You're dealing with third parties on most of those websites, with the rare exception, so yes, you can potentially get scammed. If that happens, contact support and let them sort it out. But what happened here wasn't a seller scamming OP or the website being the scammer, OP got his account compromised. Again, same thing can happen on Steam via phishing and malware.
Don't keep excessive wallet balance in any of your accounts, this goes for Steam too, and scan your system with Malwarebytes. Also reset your passwords for all your accounts.
Also report the seller on Kinguin. The seller, I'm guessing has next to no sales either, probably in the low hundreds or thousands at most. Report their account and also link the Steam account in the ticket.
I don't know where you read when you say that Kinguin didn't steal my money. That's exactly what they did. They stole my money from my Kinguin account, money withheld as they wanted. So maybe I don't understand what you're saying, or vice versa, what I'm saying is that I'm convinced that if I didn't have money withheld by Kinguin, he couldn't steal from me. They didn't steal from my personal account. They stole the money given to Kinguin for another game, which they didn't give me, but kept the money. Do I make myself understood to you?
That's good to know.
Ok but how to report a fraud like this.
