even windows do update. every week
so how come your video codec aient plasying now.
you tell alot with what you did, but aient you forgetting we cant see your pc spec here.
you do know steam do have system information right ?.
and we are still not support here, here you have video issue that is still seen as GPU driver issue and its codec with it.
or look at C-drev nvida Folder if they are there.
Do a manual search at Nvidia page, then use More version under newest driver.
ps.
Do note we have also seen windos get update and you need to reinstall same Nvidia driver again to fix windows with it
i use custom install and make a clean install the check box is there. ( reason to make sure old user setting is not the problem. )
Using the Steam client, when I open the store page for a particular product, the video will not play. No audio, no video.
Using Chrome, when I open the store page for a particular product, there are no problems.
