steam client sucks

why is it there's +22 new posts on a sub'd thread i click on that and it only has the last one highlighted. you killed it. and the clowns abusing discord killed that server. this even happens on the web now. and after clicking anything in my notifications, it removes the green bell icon

how do i revert to old steam notifications?

yea.

you know it's funny. valve was king of playtesting.

this new steam thing. the bugs. the issues. it's just. it's like valve isn't valve anymore.

EDIT: i guess, i can't assume those that worked on the games are the same that are in charge of steam.

EDIT2: i dunno if the issue is just me. i know it's not i heard others having similar issues in the mega new steam ui thread. it's just now i'm having this issue of only highlighting the last post.

my issue before today was that it'd remove the green bell notification icon after i clicked it once, even with unread items. and since i tested on the client and web, i'm certain this is a server issue and i want to believe it affects more than just me.

so my title of this post, yea melodramatic. i'm just tired of it. i have these issues with the new ui or overlay and they're never fixed.

It's not just you, and yes, it's annoying. Steam QA has not been improving.
