7800x3d cinebench r23 score & temps.
Hi my x3d friends!

wanna hear you out, also share my score and temps and got a few questions.

system:

7800x3d
7900XT
32ddr5 corsair dimm cl30 6000mhz
NZXT kraken 360 Aio
Asus Tuf b650 plus wifi
be queit 850w
Lian Li LANCOOL 216 case

BIOS is Updated.
in bios i did the PBO manually,
core 0 + 1 negative 25
all other cores negative 30
PTT is on Auto.
Expo Enabled.

my cinebench r23 :
Multicore 18472 pts. temps 87*c
Singlecore 1821 pts. temps 60*c
IDLE temps 39-45*c (Room temp 24.5*c)

but what iam worry about is, that my temperture INSTANTLY , as soon i start the multicore test, peaks to 87*c ~. in just a blink of an eye. with an 360 kraken AIO.
i already repaste the thermal paste, no difference.
should i be worried?

so What is your score? what did u do to reach that score? and what are your temps and system?

Nope

No, your temps are okay.
The cache reduces thermal conductivity, so this is normal operating temperature.
Unfortunately negative PBO doesn't do much with the temperature.

My score is about 18600 while peaking at 80C with an 240er AIO.

PBO manual, CO -25 all core, PPT 75W

i am using a Noctua NHD15 g2 LBC to cool my 7800x3d. My multicore score is 18375 and the temps were between 77 and 78 celsius for all ¬10 min of the test. The only setting ive done in bios is -25 all cores, thats it.

just ran R23 on my 7800x3D and got 18K points @ 85c.

I have a 240mm AIO but not a very agressive fan curve.

I got 74 degrees after all core 30mins test with 7800x3d using Arctic liquid freezer iii 360 using Gelid GC-4 thermal paste with PBO all core fan curve negative 30.

I have a 7900XT and a 7800X3D and my multicore is 16347 in my single core is 1713. I have an AIO from Corsair, but I also have multiple monitors so I don’t know if that affects anything.

its normal for the CPU do to the 3d stack of the cache not letting your cooler get close to the CPU die.....you will see better temps on the net but many factors will play on it from the case its self, placement of the AIO in the case and even where the case is in the room....anything under 90C is fine but you still want lower temps if you can get it.....

as for setting up the CPU in PBO its always come down to tweaking each core.....with the gap in the cold plate to fill compound to finally the real CPU die and the fact its not consistent you will have to do every core to really get everything out of the CPU....

this is a great place to start if you have not already found it.....

I was getting ~18000 with C23 multi. I saw a 'hack' where you start Cinebench (don't start the test) the open task manager, select Cinebench ->details->priority, and set priority to 'High' (it is usually set to 'Below Normal'). Close Task manager and start the test. My results went up to ~18600.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
