Unable to remove games from account after a while (Methods stopped working)
Hello,

I’m trying to remove old games from my account to de-clutter it since I have several games I won’t play again or have long since finished. I don’t want or care about refunds, I just want to remove them. I was able to do so by going to the support tab under each game listing and removing several from my account permanently, but after doing this several times, I began receiving the message “There was an unexpected error removing this product from your account.” I was able to remove some licenses/games still by going to my account details, but not all of the games that I want to remove have the option to remove them there, and after the first few I removed that way, it began giving me an error popup with the message “An error was encountered while processing your request:84”. I tried clearing my cache/browser cookies and logged back into steam, I have 2FA and had no problem with accessing my account. It’s just deeply weird to me that it stopped letting me remove games. I tried going through the support tabs on the website but I couldn’t find anywhere to submit a ticket and it’s been replaced with a seemingly useless list of articles. I don’t understand why the removal method quit working and the support tab didn't help me. Any advice or something I’m missing? The problem is consistent across browser and desktop app.

Thank you for your time.

Diffrent ways to uninstall something

1
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/

2
Right click install game and Manage it "Uninstall" option

3
Windows ways, im sure you know them program and features.
or use start menu to uninstall each game there.

4
Each online client can have own uninstaller ( Blizzard , rockstar, EA , Ubisoft, or other game client you might have added.

5
IS a Pro tool its Cleaner , you do program uninstall though there if it works, if not then DELETE game, then clean up windows registation for system issue from past games, if they do dont play nice.

6
oOd steam wasy wipe that game folder that dont uninstall right way.

7
Watchout for sync's like onedriver and other cloud app even steam cloud.
depend on reinstall and content restore later , you might not want added again.

ps.
Dont forget we other learn this in the past, uninstall a ga,me dont mean there is not leftover files , so have a folder game check , can be a good way to check its gone.
typical game devs update something and forgot include it in the uninstall app configuration file. ((( mods is not part of game devs uninstaller )))

gl with it-

It's truly wild but yeah, I guess it could only process so many of those requests at once. I don't fully get it but if it works, I don't really have to. I removed like 4 more and then the same thing came back so I guess this will just be part of the routine of booting up steam this next week or so.
