Account Recovery Gone Wrong?
After recovering my account from being hack i was shocked to see that it reverted to few years ago when it was still new (like example 800 hours of dota 2 to just literally 6 hours of gaming and all of my items also revert it to that year, items that i got and the linked acc that i use cannot be use like apex now i cant use apex on another acc cuz i can only link it to one steam acc perma)

can some one help how to recover my old steam data tho steam cloud was indeed turn on still cannot recover my recent items and stuff i sad that after recovering my acc the moment it was hack and see it revert to years before breaks my heart wholly, all my hard earned work grinding all lost just because of being hacked please help me!

You must be logged out of all accounts to start the account recovery process.

You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.

Accounts are phished not hacked.

You gave away all your account details.

The account name, the password and the KEY to the door, the Steam Guard Mobile code giving them access to the account.

How? by either logging into a known scam site or sites, tailored malware on your PC, the vote for my team scam, you have a pending ban scam on Discord, free knife click the link etc.

How does Steam (a program) know it is not you when all the account details are correct? It doesn't, therefore any action taken on your account is seen as you doing said actions.

The alternative is not plausible:

1) Someone would have to "GUESS" your account name from "millions of possible combinations".

2) Next they would have to "GUESS" your password from "millions of possible combinations" and then match it to your account name with "millions of possible combinations".

3) And finally they would have to "GUESS" the Steam Guard Mobile code "which changes every 30 seconds" to match both your account name and password to then have access your account.
