Can't buy Naraka as a gift

Hey guys, so me and my friends just played the free version of Naraka, and i want to give my friend the game as a gift, but it says that he already owns the game?

He has uninstalled the game, + it was just the free version so he shouldnt technically own the game.

Any1 know how i can fix this?

The free trial ends in 6 hours so you may want to try then, the current discount still has 30+ hours to go so you should still get the lower price.

When a game has a free weekend, your friend has to remove the license from this page https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/ in order to purchase the game.
Or wait out the entire free weekend and once that expires, you can gift the game. Which is in about 14 minutes.
