pc making a weird clicking sound

My pc makes a wired cliking sound its extremly noticible as its starting and continues as its on while its one its a few seconds of clisks then pause then again then repeats i've cleaned my but it continues

Case fans?
Power supply fan?

Spinning platter disk drive arm clicking?

Maybe your sound system is legit playing a sound of clicking?

You can confirm if its your OS making the sound by going into the BIOS setup screens and observing if it still clicks.

any of the above 2 posts are the logical possibilities. Also could be an empty cd rom drive if you use one and something was trying to access it with no cd in tray.
