make steam overlay FPS counter bigger without big picture mode?
I am not a fan of the big picture UI and kinda avoid it like the plague, but I would like to make the FPS counter in the overlay a bit larger for legibility. Is there a way to do that? I'm guessing there's a setting that is easy for everyone else to find but I am somehow not able to see.

There is no setting AFAIK. But the size of it scales to resolution scaling. If your game is lower resolution or your windows settings are larger than 100%. I'd suggest getting something like rivatuner or any other fps counter instead. Nvidia probably has one in geforce experience.

The nvidia one is a decent size... but it means you have to have an nvidia gpu, and be willing to have GFE. Personally, I refuse to use GFE lol.

I checked the Radeon software and after asking elsewhere how to disable the other metrics on the AMD overlay (because apparently I have completely lost the ability to search through options menus to find what I am looking for lately) and now I have that showing FPS.
