That said, do yourself a favor and do. Not. Play. Serious. Racing games with KBM. I am dead serious. Those games require analog inputs. I mean not technically. Technically, you can play them with digital inputs.
It's just that pulse-modulating your acceleration/brake/steering keys is both harder than using analog inputs as well as ess precise.
If you really don't want to touch any game controllers (not even a steering wheel), may I recommend an arcade fun-racer? I can't quite name the particular titles but some NFS series members don't even have any game controller support to begin with, meaning they're clearly intended to be driven with a keyboard.
With a keyboard you can only fully steer and fully brake and accelerate.
That does not go well.
