refund going to steam wallet or an outside payment (credit card/debit/paypal/etc)
how long after purchase did you ask for a refund?
how long ago did they approve the refund?

if you requested a refund shortly after the purchase, there may be nothing to refund because steam didnt get any money. what you see is the funds being HELD by your payment provider and they get released after a few days to a week.
