CALL OF DUTY GAME NOT STARTING

I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game including steam, various times but no matter what the game doesn’t start. The little pop up saying “launching cod” comes up, I click allow on the steam client service then I wait, but it quickly disappears and the game just doesn’t launch. Even the button on the client says “stop” as if the game’s running even though it’s not. There is a flicker of something after the steam pop up disappears but it doesn’t stay there.

It takes about a few minutes before the stop just disappears leaving me at the same place I started, the play button. It’s been like this for almost three + days now. I’ve used “verify integrity of game files” multiple times, even made sure my Virus Protectors allow the app, VPN so on. At this point I can’t tell whether it’s steams fault or my computers. My computer has been running fine apart for an issue with my newest hard drive. The hard drive with the issue isn’t being used so that shouldn’t be the problem.

Although if you believe it could be an issue with Steam I’d like to know so I can try pin-point whether it’s the program or something else, thank you.

It's one of many known issues with a possible 10,000 different reasons why it could be happening.

Gotta love the new CoDs on Steam. Their CoD HQ is just wonderful.
