I just got a Steam Giftcard for my birthday, and im playing to use it when theres a steam sale going on. Is there a difference between the Autumn sale and the winter sale(price-wise)? If so, i will wait until the winter sale.

Winter sale is the bigger one, but specific deals can be better in the autums sale. Always depends on the game. Best you check the pricehistory of games on steam db. If the autumsale hits a new low, its probably safe to purchase there without it getting lower in the wintersale.
