Forgotten Family View PIN and can't reset - please help!

HI, I'm not sure where to ask but I can't get out of Family View on my kids accounts because I no longer remember the PIN. There is an option to reset the PIN but the email never arrives.

I tried changing the Family View settings from my account but, strangely, it seems like I am starting from scratch with Family View and it's not connecting with my kids accounts. This was all set up before Steam Families came along. I'm hoping to update but can't even work out how to accept the Steam Families requests on behalf of my kids when they are stuck in Family View.

Any advice welcome as I am going in circles.
