If your account is secure and only you have access to it, you don't need to care about what anyone says about anything. If someone is impersonating you and scamming people that's not really your concern, the people who got scammed should have been more careful.
No one is impersonating you and no one is reporting you.
They want to trick you into talking to a Steam 'admin' who is part of the scam in order to get access to your account login.
Report and block all involved
Ignore everybody who say that you were accidentally reported or you need to contact "Admin" or "Support" through their links or on Discord.
Additionally, leave the groups you share with those scammers.
Are you in big Steam groups? I don't know how situation is now but I remember years ago when people were told to avoid huge Steam groups because bots in those groups would bombard everybody with invites and scams over and over again.
I have gotten 2 scam invites in one month but they halted after that. Maybe I was added from forums because we didn't even share similar games.
Yes but I left all of them yesterday since I didn't get much use of them anyway, so hopefully it resolves things.
You should keep us updated after few days. This may help somebody in the future.
Yep, spam messages stopped as soon as I left those groups.
Just a little heads up for everyone, despite leaving a Steam trading card group, I was still logged into its group chat, which I noticed when I brought up Steam Overlay, so be sure to check that too if spam persists.
