Steam Download slow?
I tested my internet for its speed, and the site say i have about 6 mbps download speed. However when i download things on steam, they download at 1 mbps. Why is this happening, are these tests accurate and how does steam download my stuff.

Speed test sites are measured in Mb, Steam's download speeds are measured in MB. They are two different measurements, Megabit and MegaByte.

If speed tests are showing 6Mb/s, then if you are getting 1MB/s on Steam this would be about right.
