Adobe Flash Player Help

It wont let me see the pics and vids on steam, says I need the latest version of flash player but I already have it. Anyone else having this problem?

Its a problem with the latest version of steam. You will not need to uninstall and reinstall Flash because if it was working before steam updated there will be no issue in the futre I hope :)

I have to 2 systems running steam and both have the same issue.

Try and view content in Big Picture Mode because flash player is working correctly for me there.

Just be a little patiant and steam might do an update soon..

Install Adobe Flash Player?

I'm not certain why all of the sudden I cannot play trailers or even look at images for games on the Steam Store without downloading the newest Adobe Flash Player. I never had any issues before. Anyways, I tried downloading the newest and I still can't view.

Anybody know what's going on?

This is a issues due to the latest update that steam released. There is no need to uninstall or reinstall Flash Player if it has worked before I hope valve will patch this issue soon :)

I have 2 system running steam and they are both doing the same.

Thanks so much. Good to know someone else is experiencing the same. I saw some people were saying to download the latest for Internet Explorer. I tried that. It didn't work either.

Ye there are many forum post about this a very small percentage of people are getting it to work that way but its not working for me eather.. Hoping to see a fix soon.

1 for Steam you will install flash for other browsers, NOT for IE (ActiveX version)!
2 which operating system is installed on the computer where the problem with flash? XP or Vista?

How to falsh game videos to work in Steam Client?

Any tips, itsworks in the browser but not in the client and I installed the latest flash player so why cant I see videos in the client but I can in a web browser?

Got Same Problem. It Doesnt work on Google Chrome Or Internet Explorer. This must be fixed soon. I had this problem last night.

I posted this fix in other threads but i'll leave it here anyway so, try this:

1 - Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
2 - Select Windows 7 / Vista / 2008 / 2003 ( or whatever it is your system )
3 - Select " Flash Player for Other Browsers " <-- Make sure you choose "Other Browsers"
4 - Untick any bloatware that shows up ( McAfee, Chrome, etc )
5 - Download & Install
6 - Restart Steam

For everyone posting about this problem, no one running windows 8.1 can fix this at all. I have been scouring the internet for hours and have not found a fix yet. On windows 8.1 Flash Player is literally intergrated into our OS and automatically updates itself. From what I've gathered on the internet, there is only a 32 bit version of this Flash Plugin and everyone running the 64 bit version is going to have to wait. I've also read that the 32 bit just runs automatically no matter what. This happened due to the recent update, so for now all we can do is hope that steam actually does something about this. Although it is a rather annoying problem, it's not that important.

It seems to be a Steam client issue. However, you can go to the official flash download page[get.adobe.com] and install Flash player 14 for other browsers as a workaround.
