Cannot view CD key

Where r u looking exactly?

Not all games have a CDKEY.

Try going to Library and then right click a game, should be a "View CDKEY" option; if that game actually has a CDKEY.

I am looking at games which had CD keys before, like Don't Starve. Do you see keys for your games, which have them? If it's just my problem, I'll contact support.

edit: nvm, figured it out- game needs to be installed in order to view CD key. Thanks for the response.

All working on my end.
Is the option missing or when u are clicking CDKEY is it just not showing u one?
Sometimes there are known to be server issues where it just is not showing u a CDKEY when u click that and the box shows up, but no key.

I see the key for my installed game, I'll install DS again, and maybe it'll come back. If not, I'll ask support. Cheers!

No they don't.

However when not installed, the "View CDKEY" option in a right click menu won't show.
However u can still view the CDKEY by viewing Library in Detail View; then on the far right side click CDKEY.

Oh, I see it now, thanks! It was under Links on the right side of the info box. Did not need to install. This is great, thanks again.

Guys I bought Far Cry Primal yesterday and can't find the 'View CD key' option anywhere, on right side or on right-clicking on the game. i haven't installed it though BUT the View CD key option was aailable for other uplay games before, like AC syndicate and Far Cry 4 etc. and now the option is not there too.
Can anyone help me out?

You don't get keys for Uplay games anymore. Just launch the game (or any other Uplay game that you have on Steam) and it should tell you how to link your Uplay and Steam accounts.

You don't get keys for Uplay games anymore. Just launch the game and it should tell you how to link your Uplay and Steam accounts.
