What is hwcdn.libsyn.com?

I just tried to download the drivers for the Xbox One controller, and when I click on the download link, it asks me "Do you want to download this file from hwcdn.libsyn.com?" What is that? I've done a lot of Google searching but have turned up nothing.

Libsyn is apparently a podcast hosting service. The "hwcdn" most likely stands for a Content Delivery Network.

In other words, where are you downloading it from? Likely it's a bad source.

It sounds like a content delivery service.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like it, for example steams game manuals are stored on Akamais servers I believe. E.g cdn akamai
