Can't redeem my TWO $50 steam card!! - HELP!!
My brother and I buy steam cards from our local seven eleven store, we have been saving up money for a few time now. The code is on the card, to get the code you need to scratch off the material that covers it. It worked WELL! Until three days ago. Every time we try to redeem the cards. It gives us an error message. We tried to contact Steam Support, but unfortunately their support desk isn't available at the time.....?? Has this happened before? What should we do? We're new to steam....

It gives me two error messages "an unexpected error has occurred. Your code cannot be redeemed at this time. Please contact SteamSupport" and sometimes it gives me this one "your code is invalid"

An Unexpected Error Has Occured
There may be a bug stopping you from redeeming this code. Once you can - contact Steam support.
Your Code Is Invalid
You may be typing the code in wrong, but assuming that you have tried it a number of times I am sure you are typing it right. Someone may have already taken that code, but if someone did I would think that a different message would pop up saying "This Code Has Been Taken" or something like that - I am not sure though. Once you can - contact Steam Support.

I know that you said that every time you tried the desks were unavailable, but keep trying.

Are you sure the 7/11 properly activated them. I've seen several posts in the past couple of months complaining about Steam cards bought from there.

That is possible. Recently, a few months ago my dad and I went to 711 with a gift card which had money in it and it wasn't working :(
