Most played COD game with the least hackers?

I want to buy a cod game but i want one with the least amount of hackers and the most active online community so i can find games easily. I hate ghosts and love mw2 but it has so many hackers...

Cod 4 has the least problem with hackers as it's server based and there are usually mods active on the more popular servers. It's not uncommon to see aimbot but those people are usually caught and kicked within a few minutes, it's pretty hard to hide stuff like that when you have kill cams and spectators and allot of them don't even try to hide it.

It's pretty easy to hide wall hacks though. As long as you don't constantly shoot through walls, if Punkbuster doesn't detect it, you aren't going to get caught. CoD 4 had some of the largest hacking problems when I played it.

Call of Duty 2 has a great muilti-player community thats still active too this day. It even has zombie mode mod and lord of the rings maps.

I can't remember the last time I saw a server in Cod 4 that actually had PB enabled. Most have their own counter-measures, don't ask me what they are though, haven't a clue but I rarely see suspicious feeds and the obvious hackers are always quickly dealt with.
It's also still way better than MW2 which has blatant hackers in every game and I assume the other Cods that don't use servers are just as bad but I don't have experience with those.

It's a lot more risky to hack in Call of Duties after 4, since you would be VAC banned if caught. Punkbuster bans aren't really a big deal and don't carry a large consequence.
