Steam Purchase Location
So every time I try and buy games from Steam, my card is charged from the United Kingdom. And because I don't live there, my bank freaks out and thinks that someone is using my card to buy stuff over there. I don't like the bank calling me at 8am because I tried to buy a game. Is there any way I can set it so that Steam doesn't do this and I can just buy things instantly?

WHat do you mean 'charges you from the UK'

Steam only has a subsidiary in Luxembourg
I guess that's where it's coming from. Idk. Whenever I attempt to make a purchase, for some odd reason, Steam routes it through to United Kingdom. My bank sees this, prevents the transaction, and then proceeds to call me, tell me a purchase was made in the UK and ask what happened. I'm sick of this happening every time.

How exactly are you paying then? Steam generally only allows you to purchase games using a payment method if you IP matches the location of the payment method. Aka. youd have to be paying for stuff with some kind fo UK credit card for that kind of thing to trigger.

How exactly are you paying and where are you physically located, and have you ever lived in the UK before, and what payment method ar eyou using
I'm paying via debit card, I currently live in the US, I've never lived in the UK.
Currently lives in USA, Profile says Finland, card charged in the UK... wat

Just contact support and get it sorted. https://support.steampowered.com/
I lived in Finland when I was born. ExPat. Anyways, good call. Thanks
