I wonder how many were called achievement hacker for playing 2 days straight :)
I spent all day yesterday installing, testing, and making sure mods for skyrim worked that add immersion and make it feel like a tundra that is both beautiful and unforgiving. They are a big deal to some players and to others they are not

And this is why achievements will never be linked to Steam level.
Which is a good thing, frankly. Achievements are something that we gamers should be enjoying on our own terms.
not to mention there is a difference in accepting the possibility of a event that is of somewhat importance interupting you, you know, real human people trying to communicate with their friend, not some lame digital dog treat giving you a pat on the head because you were smart enough to even complete the obligatory training or walked X amount of meters in game.
