Antivirus blocking games

Hey, I have Bitdefender free edition running on Windows 7.
It blocks certain games after installation and it shows up in the bitdefender directory.
I have looked up troubleshooting of this problem, but everything is related to the paid version of Bitdefender where you can actually change settings.

I am looking for an alternative anti virus that I can exclude games from being blocked, or some sort of help regarding the issue. thanks for your time guys!

those reported trojans in steam recently and so did norton :D

I went from avira to avast...... but i had to switch because it wasnt compatible.
If you just need an antivirus, avast has been good.

I switched from avast to MSE , but I only run an anti virus so I can tell people what works good with steam.

Might just go with avast. the only thing i hate is "AVAST VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED" every hour lol. I'll live though

You can make settings....... remember that.......
You NEED to do settings in any program........ for example so you dont send things in the cloud.....
Its the first to do

Youre right, youre right. I've been reading threads as to the best programs to use with steam and ive gotten MSE for the most part, then avast, then avira

And yeah, i need something with some sort of control. bitdefender free is an awesome program that doesn't interfiere or nag much, although there arent any specified controls on it

I ran without virus scan for 7 or 8 years in the last 15 years and I google a lot.
never a problem ever with malware.

if you don't want to be nagged have good habbits and use MSE :)
