MAX PAYNE 3 DIRECTX PROBLEM

HI,i can't change directx options in graphics settings,it's locked on dx9
Yes,i have gpu with dx11 and blablabla...i've also tried the commandline option and the launch options but they don't work.

Is your graphics driver updated?

How many different command line options did you do? There's three I think.

• Right click game in Library - Properties - Set Launch Options - Add the commands as you see it below, without the brackets ofcourse.

• Navigate to where your root Max Payne 3 folder is where the executables are, make a text file called "commandline" without the quotes. Open it via notepad and add in the commands and save.

• Right click the games desktop shortcut - Properties - You will see the Target Field and add in the commands in front of whatever's in there. It should look like this:
  
  

   "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 3\PlayMaxPayne3.exe" -adapter 1 -dx11

i've did the first and the second step,not the third because it's obviously the steam version

If those aren't working then it has to be a driver issue. Hmm.

Check again to see if your drivers are up to date.

The last things I can recommend is disabling Steam Overlay for MP3 and running as administrator.

how i disable the overlay ?

Right-click on the game title, click on "Properties" and uncheck "Enable Steam Community while in-game" in the "General" tab.
