Please a bit of help with steam?

I was playing my game and went to another website for a moment. Came back and cannot get back to my game. Steam wants all kinds of details for reviews. I just want to play my game. The only option it gives is to quit the game. i don't want to lose my progress. Help anyone? Thanks

We can't see which game you're having trouble with. (Your games list is hidden, etc)

Most steam games save your progress in the steam cloud(online) so you can install anywhere and continue exactly where you left off.

Steam does not require you to write a review. If you're seeing that its another user pretending to be 'the system'.

I can see it when I hit ALT + TAB but cannot get into it ever since I looked up a recipe online and it bounced me out.

I'm afraid to go look. I'm not well versed with Steam. I worked on an NCR tower with 5" floppies and I Smell a Wumpus on an orange or green screen!. I still have an orange one in my garage that I just discovered if anyone wants it!

I avoid FB because its not relevant in my life. You didn't mention what your FB page is. Its not even on your steam profile page. I'm certain it would be amusing and entertaining as you suggest, if you were to reveal it.

Games that are in your steam account will remain there until you specifically request that it be removed. Your game isn't missing, but perhaps in a problematic situation where alt-tab doesn't work.
One way is to start the task manager, find the game and right-click it. From the popup menu pick "Bring to front", making it the active program instead of all that Windows stuff.
If that dosn't work you will have to right-click and pick "End task". then just launch the game again.

I will add it. It's not that I'm funny, it's that they were looking at my post for ill intent. Cracked me up. I will try the task manager and thank you so much. I was going to hit quit but Steam said I could lose unsaved progress or something like that. Hang on I will try that.

Hold up... if the game itself said you could lose unsaved progress there's probably two important buttons... one to save your progress and one to load it. You'll probably find that on the key bindings settings page in-game.
Once you HAVE saved you can exit the game any way you want. When you start the game again it should resume at the most recent save.
