I was wonder to myself why when I make a purchase through Steam I don't receive a verification code for the phone and almost on every other site does anyone know?

Amazon, the largest retailer in the world doesn't require one.

I'm pretty sure the credit card company decides what they do about incoming transactions. Maybe Steam's and your previous history lead to the result that they don't need to verify the transaction.

Uhmm even if its a new card? i mean i got history with other site aswell that idk but tnx for answer
