How do you record game on steam?

Since idk why obs crash the game iwas trying to record i tried steam recording

The help page tell me to go to setting>Gamerecording

But icant find it

It's still only available in the beta client.

If you don't want to use the beta (and you shouldn't use the beta unless you're tech-savy enough to deal with beta crap which is inherent to betas), there's other means. Windows' DVR, for example, is an easy pick. Your graphics card's software likely got some as well (I know my NVidia does).
