"My account got comprimised"
So, long story short: I tradet some items with others on the trading forum and got blocked by steam. They messaged me that my account might be comprimised/someone else logged into it. And that someone tried to trade something from my own location on my own device. So i got my account back, and can't trade for 15 days and my password got resettet. The Support told me that my account got comprimised. My account did never got stolen/hacked or anything like that for like 10 years. I never clicked any link, never gave my details to someone else or did something sus. My account was and is safe and secured since i made it. It has mobile Autoficator/Steam guard. I checked the log ins, and only my Computer and my mobile logged in ever, no one else did.

So my question is: How the...can something happen like that? How did Steam's system failed that hard?
How can they detect that my account got comprimised while it never was?
For more informations: It was simple trades on Dota forum with some 5€ Items for some tradeable weather effects(they are not marktable, but tradeable) and i wanted some weather effects for my game, so i tradet some of my cool looking Cs Skins. Then suddenly i got blocked.

"Steam Support suspects your account may have been accessed by someone else. We are temporarily restricting modifications to this account as a security precaution."

This one?

Some people also had this happen to them, and yea there is nothing suspicious about them too, they just did normal trades and they got hit by this.

Probably system hiccups, or steam is trying to implement new security measures. As you can see it is still incomplete

Yes, that's right. Thank you much for your answer.
I see why it happened. It's just really annoying(upsetting).

I really thought that steam just "hates" me.

Thank you again, and i wish you happy halloween :) :vanilla2:

Steam doesn't have feelings towards you one way or another.
