DBH retroactive achievements

I'm gonna buy Detroit: Become Human, and I plan to load my existing save file in the steam game, will I get the achievements on steam if I do that?

I figured it out, it may be specific to this game but what I did is I uninstalled the other version (while keeping the save file), and installed the steam version. On launch, it created another save file, and started a new game, so i renamed the old save file the same name as the new save file, and deleted the new save file. The game now treats the old save file as the new one, and I could continue where I left off. I used SAM to grant myself the achievements I had done.

Maybe, maybe not, maybe some, maybe none, maybe you can still get the ones you didn't get by doing it again, maybe you can't.

How achievements interact with savefiles is very much up to the game, and they don't usually pay a lot of attention when happens to the results can be pretty random.

It depends where your original save file is from and whether it is compatible with Steam.
